RESIDENT DIRECTOR
Michael has been the resident director of the Lucille Lortel Awards for past 10 years, an awards ceremony dedicated to recognizing excellence in Off-Broadway theatre. The Awards are named for Lucille Lortel, an actress and theater producer, known as the “Queen of Off-Broadway.” The Off-Broadway League instituted the Lucille Lortel Awards in 1986 to honor Lucille Lortel's devotion to Off-Broadway. The Awards are produced by The Off-Broadway League, by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation, with additional support from the Theatre Development Fund. Michael has worked with numerous A list stars to make this an unforgettable evening for the past 10 years.

BINGO REUNION CONCERT
WRITER / DIRECTOR
BINGO (the winning musical) is about a group of die-hard bingo players who stop at nothing to miss their weekly game. In between the number calling, strange rituals and fierce competitions, love blossoms and long lost friends reunite - AND the audience gets to play along! Michael directed and co-produced the reunion concert at New York's favorite cabaret spot "Feinstein's 54 Below" for a packed audience.
