Michael had the honor of directing the Broadway number for the premiere episode of the Meredith Vieira talk show. He worked alongside Vieira’s team to create a number that would be memorable for her first episode on air. Included in the number were performances by The Radio City Rockettes, Peter Gallagher, dancers from Chicago, James Iglehart (Aladdin) and the cast of Mamma Mia.

SYNOPSIS
This 30-minute single camera comedy centers on the life of 22 year-old Scott Nesterman. He has looks, brains, a job on Wall street and still lives with his parents on the upper west side of Manhattan. From his old twin bed, he dreams of following his parent's footsteps into the soul sucking, ego crushing, financially ruinous world of Broadway. That should go well.

The music director of Meredith Vieira’s Daytime Talk Show, Everett Bradley, was often pulled into special on-camera segments. The pilot of Everett’s Broadway Beat was created to be part of a weekly series within the Meredith Vieira talkshow where Everett would interview Broadway stars in their dressing rooms. In this premiere episode, Everett interviews Tony Award winner Kelli O’Hara backstage while she is in the midst of her starring role in Lincoln Center’s production of The King & I.

Michael has been the resident director of the Lucille Lortel Awards for past 10 years, an awards ceremony dedicated to recognizing excellence in Off-Broadway theatre. The Awards are named for Lucille Lortel, an actress and theater producer, known as the “Queen of Off-Broadway.” The Off-Broadway League instituted the Lucille Lortel Awards in 1986 to honor Lucille Lortel's devotion to Off-Broadway. The Awards are produced by The Off-Broadway League, by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation, with additional support from the Theatre Development Fund. Michael has worked with numerous A list stars to make this an unforgettable evening for the past 10 years.

Heitzman & Reid performed a night of their material at this iconic club, The Cutting Room, which has a rich history that includes some of today's top performers - John Mayer, Lady Gaga, Sting, Sheryl Crow. It was a night to remember with Broadway stars Caissie Levy, Ann Harada, John Arthur Green, Justin Sargent, Whitney Bashor, Teal Wicks, Ray Lee, Jesse Nager, and Manhattan Transfer’s original member Janice Siegel performing Heitzman & Reid originals.

BINGO (the winning musical) is about a group of die-hard bingo players who stop at nothing to miss their weekly game. In between the number calling, strange rituals and fierce competitions, love blossoms and long lost friends reunite - AND the audience gets to play along! Michael directed and co-produced the reunion concert at New York's favorite cabaret spot "Feinstein's 54 Below" for a packed audience.
